I'm watching episode 33 of Naruto.
Saskue is not one of my favorite characters. Not in any series.
If I were growing up and watching this series as a teen, then I see the appeal.

However, at this point, no... not so much. He's way too reluctant to me...

Then, all of the sudden, this Orochumari seal awakens this guy and he turns into a blatant, blood-seeking, ho beater!

Went up to a thug and was like... you must like these arms.. you seem attached...
AND BROKE EM!

I'm like... that's wassup right there!

He goes to find the next victim, another random henchman that deserved some capital punishment... and yet...

Sakura is like... noooooooooo and stops him cause he's too "evil".

What type of shit?

First thing that pisses me off about Sakura is the fact that she's constantly on Saskue's nuts while dissin the MAIN CHARACTER OF THE SHOW Naurto.

This is the second thing.

Why you gotta stop the kid? HE JUST BROKE SOMEBODY'S ARMS!!!!

Lame.

And Then There Was Three

I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
Three choices. Technically two if look at this logically. And most likely one if I want something solid.

1) Concentrate on my new lil wifey apprentice. Which makes no sense for she is just going to move farther away from me. I don't even know how often we will ever see each other. For right now, she is in Texas and I am in Alabama. During the course of the year, I will either be here or in Illinois and she will be either in Texas, New Jersey, or Delaware. There isn't much of a common ground in that one and I'm not believing that a long distance relationship is really going to work and/or go down.

2) Move to Illinois over the summer, start a new group, push out an album and go to work.
This is the second most likely option being that well, I have no doubt that they have the charisma as long as myself to make something pop. I have no doubt at the talent level lyrically. At all.
But the problem is that I don't think that they are as free and open with there style as I and with me being in the group I would have to basically fall back on going in and doing what I would like to do just for the betterment of the group. Which would be mad ironic seeing that I'm the oldest but being the wiseman that I am, I just tend to know my role rather than just make it.

3) Work with someone who I know could possibly make this work. Luke.
To be honest, he could have blown up long ago. The problem is the people he worked with.
With the knowledge and understanding of the game, his musical talents, and his down-to-earth demeanor, it reminds me of the actual Big Boi to my Andre 3000. It's a superbly perfect fit.
The only problem is the base in which we would have to work.
NO ONE from the city of Birmingham has EVER went mainstream.
If I were to do so, it would be the biggest precedent that has ever been set in the history of precedents.

3) Is the most logically being that this is my home and I'll have a bit to fall back on, but is also the most illogical when it comes to exposure but if worked right could be logical in terms of ... you guessed it. Money.

Makes me think.

I have a big decision to make it seems and I have to do it soon.

*coughs*

Oh how I hate being sick.
If there is one thing that I can't stand.. it's being less then 100%.
Sure you have a Michael Jordan who went lights out in the playoffs going for over 40 with the flu... but eff that.

I need all of me in this world.

Well after years of never thinking that this day would come in which I would have to legally be reborn, it seems as if I'm going to try to go on a quest of sorts.

2009 is the year of the "nerd immersion".

I shall go on an journey of discovery and, in some cases (Reboot anyone? thx Reed), archeology to pretty much boldly go where my friend circle has gone before and go beyond.

Complete anime revists and a crash course in the japanese language.

Meaning?

I'm going to catch up on my anime and learn Japanese this year.

I've immersed myself in hip-hop to the point of no return. ILU Boo, but I just have to see other people lol.

Rise of the Phoenix

Lil Wayne is far from a dead afterthought that has to rise from the grave or something.

However, apparently Wayne's Nirvana addictions has given rise to what will now be his "Rebirth" as a Rocker.

I don't think he... rocks. He sings. But.. it's more like if T-Pain or Chris Brown was singing on a track with guitars.

That being said... lets being the review of this new material from my BHO (Time for a change) perspective.
First up... Prom Queen.




It's a legit track... then you hear Wayne scream out of nowhere and you remember... He is supposed to sing on this.

Then... you just breeze the first verse and you are like... acceptable?

The hook hits... and then it really hits you... this really isn't that good and you just really want this to work... YOU REALLY WANT THIS TO WORK!
But much like a dating that chick after having one more drink, you get to that point where you say that this looks like it's only going to get worse.

Sure enough... if you really love hearing singers hit the right note and had a hard time getting through 808s and Heartbreak... this is going to bring emo and goth come back in style... HARD

The second verse is just WAY... WAY to erratic. There is no sing along factor unless you are from the ages of 2-8. and then the bridge/chorus hits... and well...

the song is just too damn messy to be serious.
Wayne really can do better.

I throughly enjoyed the style clash this time. Cause it doesn't seem like Wayne is out of place on this.. if you have caught as much as a whiff of Wayne singing before hand in the last year, this is right up your alley which helps you get comfortable.
The Lyrics are Way More like Wayne... (although the haters WILL point out to you if you decide to no homo this, that the opening line comes from Green Day.)

The Hook is lovely. the 808 switch up is lovely (musically) and he basically rap-sings the second verse... then back.. to the singing rinse repeat chorus.

Quite enjoyable.

From the infatuation with Sonic... to his infatuation with pink... it looks like me from high school.

To me, at this moment right now, he has taken Lil Bow Wow's place in the "reason why I'm truly pissed I'm not mainstream yet, cause this fucker is doing me worse that I can do myself" category.

Now... again.. I didn't really care about the whole thing again until I started looking around and noticing that he is getting buzz based almost SOLELY on the fact that he does Sonic and other video game-mixes as beats and people are like... OMG!!?!? He's the future.

Now... again... he probably would be a person that if just happened to be in the industry at the same time, we could have form Voltron and a T-Wayne tip. BUT NO!

This whole thing is just a cheap ploy. All of his moves have been cheap ploys. "Different" but cheap.

I could see if this was based more on lyrical ability and he just happened to make a beat from StH. But NO!

I can't just let that kinda shit slide. Especially when you got two of my all favorite rappers in the game calling this guy the future.

The problem that everyone seem to have is that... simply... Kayne is singing. And they don't like that.

I ask you this, if Picasso was to stop painting just one time to create a dope sculpture, would you hate on that? Or would appreciate the art as a standalone good deed from the visual sanity of humanity?

My case is this, so what Kayne didn't spit like he always does. But didn't he put words on a track? Was music not created? Where there no lyrics?

Where are the "I only care about the meaning and the lyrics" people at?

I really just don't understand it.
