More Soulja Boi news... *haters begin gripping*

Yesterday, the moment that I have been waiting for has happened.

I call it... *KRS-One at 2:22*

"KRS-One. Big respect to you [Soulja Boi]"

Real quote.

This is what that quote is saying...

To all those that are just plain opposed to all the snappin' and dancin' and (from what I've heard described as) pure minstrel show acts that are running around here, you can suck a mighty fat one.

It's what I stress to all new and old listeners, "Just enjoy it something about it."

It doesn't have to be a super-lyrical, GZA in his prime, piece of work to be something that can be enjoyed. All these new guys are trying to do is just have fun with it. Just like it was when it originated.

All of your predecessors, from Melle Mel to Kool Herc, started off doing was dance tracks and mix-shows for block parties in New York.

The first rap single was "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugar Hill Gang. A dance record.
Afrika Bambaataa released "Planet Rock". A dance record.
Kurtis Blow - "The Breaks". Dance record.
Doug E. Fresh - "The Show". Dance record.

I could go on and on... on and on and on and on! But the point is that this new hatred of the new school is just out of place and out of touch with reality.

Get with the program.
Get silly.

End.
