Thank You Rock Band

Now this may seem like just a hip-hop and R&B site... but it's more than that. It's a reflection of self and anyone that knows me will tell you... I don't do just ONE thing.

Case in point: I present to you, the readers, with a couple of rock quick-hitters by way of the good folks (*cough*GODS*cough*)at Harmonix.

This was my show out song when I was playing Rock Band. Hands down.

(that and Maps - Yeah Yeah Yeahs of course)

While you may have been hearing their new song, Pork and Beans (Damn near my theme song), Weezer has been around since the early 90s. This ballad tears through you with it's powerful hook and jaw dropping visuals.
Breaking-up has never been this hard to deal with.

That is until this little ditty came along...



Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home

My "I'm really good at expert, so I'm going to not look while playing this and still get Gold Stars" song.
And one of the most VICIOUS breakup songs in the history of music.
The whole song is like Eminem's Kim... just 10 times harder!



Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box

First song that did 100% on Expert on in the entire series (Bitch I do this (c) Shawty Lo). Also just a poetic and sonic masterpiece by a truly legendary group.
They are easily rock's version of The Notorious B.I.G.



My all-time favorite (non-bouns section) song in the whole series.

It's just a beauty. Innovative as well. I've never heard any song like this and probably never will again.
